Who is KEEKS?
Hello, My name is Kia (aka Keeks)
I AM A FOUNDER / INTERIOR DESIGN EXPERT / INTENTIONAL DESIGNER.
Born in London, and raised in Chicago - I have been a lover of design for most of my life.
After earning my BA in Interior Architecture in London I returned to the USA and have been professionally practicing Interior Design for 10 years (even longer, if you count my Barbie house renovation in the late 90’s)!
Working in diverse and dynamic cities such as Chicago, London and now New York City, has only strengthened passion for Interior Design and refined my mission. While my specialty lies in Contemporary residential design, I aim to uplift community through Interior Design - in any way I can imagine.

Uplifting BIPOC Communities
An important part of the KEEKS is to highlight and uplift overlooked communities - specifically Black Indigenous People Of Color. I strive to do this by centering BIPOC clients in my designs and highlighting BIPOC owned brands in the design industry.

KEEKS believes everyone deserves intentionally designed spaces, filled with beautiful things. Every client is unique and that should be celebrated!

KEEKS’ niche is Contemporary Interior Design. I love mixing styles to create a unique look for clients. KEEKS’ design trademark is a neutral base with playful, intentional accents of color, texture, and pattern.
But most of all, KEEKS believes Interior Design should be FUN!
